T'ang Studies Society Daoist and Buddhist Text Reading Workshop

The T'ang Studies Society is hosted a reading workshop on Tang-era Daoist and Buddhist texts from September 2-4, 2015 at Princeton University. Information on the event appears below. 


Workshop Program:

This was a guided reading workshop led by Professors Wendi Adamek and Stephen Bokenkamp. The focus was on close, collaborative reading of the texts selected by our guides. Texts and appropriate background reading was distributed in advance of the workshop to allow participants to prepare for the event.

Workshop Reading:

 

Primary texts for reading and bibliographies of suggested secondary readings were distributed to registered participants.

Participants must arranged their own accommodations during the workshop. The workshop began promptly at 9 a.m. both days.
